Moose-Wilson Road Closure and GTNP Hiking Access from the Village

Summer Hiker

The National Park Service will begin construction in the southern portion of the Moose-Wilson Road this spring in Grand Teton National Park.  This part of the road, including the Granite Canyon entrance, will be open on weekends – 7 pm Friday to 7 am Monday and on national holidays – from Memorial Day to Labor Day.  Please check the National Park Service for more details.

Hiking Access at Teton Village

Jackson Hole Mountain Resort shares a boundary with Grand Teton National Park and provides access to several moderate-strenuous trails within the park. Access to park trails originates from the Rendezvous Mountain Summit and Valley Trail Access. Begin hiking from the base or ride up the Bridger Gondola or Aerial Tram to avoid hiking up the initial elevation. Visit here to learn more.  Park for free in the Ranch Lot in Teton Village!
