Rules & Regulations by Special District
The following documents related to each of the Teton Village Residential Special Districts and Architecture Committee provide for the management and operation of our public services. These regulations are necessary to promote the health, safety, and general welfare of the Residents of Teton Village.
All owners and residents who currently, or in the future, utilize services offered by each district should be aware of the applicable rules and regulations, ordinances, and covenants.
All questions should be directed to the District Office.
The Rules and Regulations of the Teton Village Water & Sewer District provide for the management and operation of the water and sewer systems of the Teton Village Water & Sewer District.
The Rules and Regulations of the Teton Village Improvement & Service District provide for the management and operation of the improvement and service systems of the District.
The Teton Village Architectural committee adheres to the Compilation of Declaration of Restrictive Covenants Jackson Hole Ski Corporation Addition through Sixth Amendment, dated January 17, 1997, and defines restrictions on the design and use of properties within the boundaries of the Teton Village Architectural Committee, as well as the organization, duties, and authority of TVAC. The Restrictive Covenants are “binding upon all parties and persons having any right, title, or interest in the described land or any part thereof and all persons claiming through or under them, and for the benefit of and limitation upon all future owners thereof.”
Additionally, the Design Guidelines are part of the Teton Village Master Plan and are supplemental to restrictions and processes established in the Teton Village Architectural Committee Compilation of Declaration of Restrictive Covenants JHSC Addition through Sixth Amendment. Residents are encouraged to review both the Teton Village Master Plan and the Restrictive Covenants together.
The Ordinances and Bylaws set by the Teton Village Special Fire District are deemed necessary to the operation of the Teton Village Volunteer Fire Department and Special District. They are adopted pursuant to W.S. Section 35-93203.
For enforcement of the Fire Code, the TVSFD defers to Jackson Hole Fire/EMS who adhere to the International Fire Code, International Wildland Urban Interface Code, and National Electric Code as are currently adopted by Teton County.
