If you have seen the local news lately you will know that the bears are back. 399 and her cubs have begun moving south looking for a snack after a long winter nap.
Please help us keep the bears, and other wildlife, away and out of trash in Teton Village by taking the following precautions
-Check to make sure your bear proof trash bins are in working order
-Make sure your trash is stored in an enclosure at all times (Excluding trash pick up day)
-Put trash bins out as close to pick up time as possible
-Keep bird seed, pet food or compost in a secured bear proof container if stored outside
Taking just a few extra steps will help keep bears and wildlife out of trash in Teton Village and will ensure everyone’s safety!
